Richard Maxted has teamed up with author Jane Field-Lewis to work on this stunning new book project - The Anthology of Flowers.

The photographs evoke the feel of old botanical paintings, which was very much Richard's intention when he set out - “Many have photographed flowers in the past of course, but I wanted to try and create an illustration of a flower in a photograph.”
