Driven by the impulse to create memories in the here-and-now, his camera has taken him from the pulsating rhythms of UK music culture to rambunctious Portuguese festivals, bucolic Cuban farms and everywhere in-between. Hailing from an enormous Portuguese family, Johnny has had to learn how to grab people’s attention from the very start. No doubt this vibrant upbringing has also instilled the love for festivity, music and dance that runs through his work.
